There was an entrepreneur that loved Nike so much that he tattooed the Nike Logo on his stomach. Every day he would look at the tattoo. When he got ready for work, before bed, and in the shower, his tattoo would remind him to, “Just Do it.” Due to the challenges of starting a business, quick and decisive action is required at key moments. In this form, the Nike swoosh always reminded him to go for it and not let go. It sounds a bit extreme and gives Nike free advertising at the beach, but it is a powerful and motivating tattoo for that individual person.

One of my clients is a musician in an orchestra and has a dream to become a conductor just like the famous female conductor Tomomi Nishimoto. This tattoo design is a graceful and elegant hybrid tattoo with Tomomi Nishimoto’s actual hand in black and white realism, and magically twirling wispy and playful waves that produce wonderful music. Simple geometric elements were additionally included for stylistic flair without drawing too much attention away from the rest of the tattoo.
