Intro to the Workshop

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Lead Artist Jingxi is excited to meet other artists and pass down her highly demanded coloring technique skills.

The Watercolor Workshop takes place over 3 days in the Los Angeles studio. The workshop is live, in-person and fully interactive.

Although Jingxi has a highly demanded training class for beginners, the Watercolor Workshop is for experienced tattoo artists only much like the shading workshop.

Instead of Jingxi's usual way of teaching (breaking down the tattoo skills into a lot of small fundamental practices), this workshop is going to be a more blended, hands-on, and a more visual learning experience.

This course is for experienced tattoo artists only. Artists who have had enough tattoo experience and want to focus on the watercolor style/ struggling with coloring tattoo skills would benefit the most from this workshop.

Workshop contains both theory and hands-on practice under Jingxi's guidance.

Curriculum includes, but not limited to:

1.1 - Watercolor tattoo skills

1.2 - Coloring fundamentals

1.3 - How to use white/ light/ pastel color

1.4 - Smooth color transition

1.5 - Q&A for any tattoo coloring skills. Your biggest struggle, anything related to coloring skills.

Schedule:

Day 1 & Day 2 - Watercolor Tattoo Skills and Coloring Fundamentals

Day 3 - Q&A about any tattoo coloring skills

The shop will provide fake skin, ink, and all disposables. All artists will need to bring their own tattoo machines and power supply.
